Why do Bible Accurate Angels look scary and strange as HELL?!?!?! · 6:26am Nov 4th, 2020
Hello everypony! 
I was watching some birthing videos and then I came upon a thumbnail of this video
I haven't watched it yet, but I did do a google search of them and they are super terrifying looking.
Not the ordinary looking Angels, but they look like some freaking Alien from some other Universe!!! 
To me, I think they might be that after all, since the universe is so vast and so full of possiblies of extraterrestrial beings. They might be beings from another Universe just the way they look, act and the descriptions of them. Besides, there are theories that we might be living a simulation and or there might be multiple universes. It's really interesting to think about because they could be the first evidence of encountering extraterrestrials in human history.
There are stories much older than the bible that describe such things, like the Thunderbird in indian mythology. Look up "Thunderbird story" in google to learn more about it.
It is so interesting to know that the bible angels look so Alien rather to our standard looking angels. I, myself, am not that big into religion, except Sikhism which I adore, but seeing pictures of those angels made me think that they could be some type of extraterrestrial beings or someone just using their creative mind.

I was raised to be a Christian but I accept other people opinion. I find other cultures interesting including have friends of different religion learning about them. From athiest to Jewish. One was Hinduism and had an interesting conversation with a santanist in school. Long as you don’t make fun of what I believe in or call my beliefs dumb I don’t mind what ya believe in more power to ya.
Yeah, it’s only recently that angels have begun to be depicted as winged people with halos & whatnot. They were all originally depicted as—essentially—eldritch abominations. Which makes sense; they’re not supposed to be people. They’re supposed to be servitors for an all powerful being.
The gyroscope of flames and eyes is a particular favorite of mine. It’s just... badass. The ones made of fractal wings are pretty good as well.
But the one Angel, that most people who’ve read a bible probably remember, is the one that guards Eden. It’s a giant flaming sword. Try negotiating with that.
Oh, and there’s one that most people see every day and probably don’t realize it (more so in the US). The Free Masons adopted the symbol of the all-seeing-eye, and you can see that influence in a lot of places, like the back of the US one-dollar-bill. But aside from money, that thing pops up all over the place, like Gravity Falls with Bill (which may actually be a reference to the fact that the eye is on the $1 bill).
Anywho, Angels are eldritch abominations. Don’t mess with them. And if one gets sent after you... well, sucks to be you.
There's a good reason why they usually begin with "Don't be afraid."
