What a fright!
It was a great haul for my kids, about 6 pounds each since no one else was out. Most of the houses we hit were not touched, and probably wouldn't be the rest of the night. Poor peeps and damn Covid.
My daughter was scared of Bloody Mary, thanks to a commercial on the radio of three girls chanting 'Bloody Mary', so while she was tucked in she started almost crying.
Being the dad I am, I pulled up 'Bloody Mary' images on Google and explained what a 'Bloody Mary' is, then showed her some Bloody Mary's with various toppings until she was giggling and rolling her eyes when I said "Bloody Mary" in a creepy voice.
+1 dad win; taking me up to about 32,210 since 2004.
It ain't easy bein' cheesy; I just make it look that way.
