I was reviewing the draft of the first Gilda chapter this morning, and decided it needed a great deal more fleshing out, including adding names and at least brief bios of certain supporting characters, as well some extra spice in the form of additional sexiness. So that's what I'm doing, meaning you're going to be getting a bigger and hopefully better chapter out of it.
Meaning also my work is cut out for me right now to get it redone in time. Nevertheless, a promise is a promise. The chapter will be launched tonight, currently aimed for around 7pm US Eastern.
It struck me upon reading through it again this morning that although the rest of Midnight Rising was written in first person, these chapters will be (mostly) written in third-person limited perspective--though I probably won't be able to resist slipping into omni at certain points. So be it. For those of you who haven't read Nightmare Night, this is the narrative style it's written in, with much more extended scenes and buildup, as well a much greater level of detail.
