Well, with how everything's been going, it was bound to happen sooner or later.

A couple of my coworkers turned out to be positive for corona over the last few days, and since I was in frequent (and kind of prolonged) contact with one of them, I've been quarantined as of yesterday evening. We were all wearing masks so I'm probably safe, but I don't know where and how they got infected. Not that it really matters, as the darn thing is everywhere by now.

I'm an introverted (some would say anti-social) grump, so staying home for two weeks should be easy, plus I get to sleep and catch up on studying and sleep and hug Thorax and sleep and read and sleep and write fanfics and sleep and bake cakes and sleep... did I mention that I get to sleep? Seriously, I've been going on 3-4 hours of sleep for a while now, and it's Tartarus. (Word of advice: if there aren't enough hours in a day for everything you have to do, sacrifice something other than sleep. You'll be thanking yourself later.)

Where was I? Oh, if everything goes fine, I should be back at work in a little less than two weeks. If not... well, I'll inform you if things start going really bad, so if I stop posting new chapters all of a sudden, you'll at least have an idea why. The Odd One has been sitting completed in my buffer for a while (I'm currently writing the next story), but I'll stick to the 15-day updating schedule for now under an assumption that everything will turn out well and that I'll be back to routine soon, which involves stuff that could (and probably will) leave me little time for writing, and I don't want to deplete my buffer too quickly. If worse comes to worst, I have in mind to post a link to the unedited version of the story in my Google Drive, so you'll get to read the rest of the story even if I don't live to publish it properly.

I hope you're all reasonable enough to not need another reminder (if you aren't, go find some common sense), but here goes anyway: stay home if you can, wear a mask, wash your hands, and don't lie to doctors.
