I'll be banned from the site again

Due to, of course, more transphobia and disagreeing with site-majority opinions, I have been informed that I will be kicked off the site permanently starting tomorrow. I have prepared a farewell message in the comments below.

    Happy Easter!

And to those who don't celebrate Easter, too bad, I'm going to impose it on you. Happy Easter. Jesus Christ died for you too, and because He rose from the dead, so can we all.

Fluttershy and the Lava Demon: A Tale of Friendship

My first AI art post. It isn't my art, since a computer for Bing generated it, but I had to share. And I always follow a strict "lacerate-demons-on-the-spot-with-a-shotgun-and-chainsaw" policy, but I can make an exception for this one.

    Artificial Intelligence

"Bradybunch, everyone's already given their opinions on it!" Yeah, I know. But before I left the site for two years for a mission, AI was barely cohesive enough to give slurred and static-like voice replication, nonsensical chatbots, and meaningless swirls of shape and color for art. Then, all of a sudden, AI got really good, so I had to try it out. I'm using Bing's AI image generation, which is

    LOTR will never be equaled.

I was thinking about it while playing Shadow of Mordor and Shadow of War. (My brother gifted them to me for my birthday.) And honestly, the more I reflected on it, the more it made sense. There's a few things that compare in literary achievement, like Dune, but it never made it into modern public consciousness until, like, three years ago. And besides, LOTR wasn't just popular or good-- it

Why is Twitter still a thing? · 11:16am Oct 22nd, 2020

It's a website everyone knows about, but you barely know any close friends who use it. When you think of people who do use Twitter, you think of that smug kid in school who used to correct everyone about everything.

Smug is one of the only four emotions you're allowed to feel on Twitter. The others, of course, are passive-aggressiveness, uncontrollable rage, and horniness. It's a place where you can mess up once, even in an honest mistake from years ago, and you'll get tarred and feathered by anime profile pics, beheaded by Kpop stans, and taxidermized by hardcore political activists.

The people in charge of Twitter like to think they're creating a place of public discourse, so why do the worst conversations in the world happen there? It's a money-first business with your satisfaction left on the back burner. The only real redeeming value one could have is using Twitter as promotion across other social networks, but otherwise, I can't see why you stand this place.

Everyone likes to rip on Trump using Twitter, but in doing so, they just spread his influence further than campaign advertising ever could. You're playing into his hands by caring this much about what he says, so if liberals really want to protest Trump, keep your mouth shut.

And it's not just Trump, either. Journalists act as unprofessionally as they want to because they have a verification badge next to their name that separates the elevated elites from the worthless plebes. It's gotten to the point where the phrase "blue checkmark" has become a prejorative term to describe those people instead of an actual verification system like on YouTube.

Most people have learned to have more respect for non-verified users than verified ones unless they're a public figure everyone gets along with well, like Mark Hamill or Arnold Schwarzenegger. If you're not an already established public figure, corporation, or journalist, your chances for verification are a million to one.

The average user is exposed to controversy, divisiveness, and hatred on a daily basis. The site likes to purport itself as an area of erudite public discourse, of a utopia. So why does using the site make you feel like you're living in Soviet Russia? The place is in constant need of repairs, people disappear for no reason, your opinions are irrelevant, and the corrupt, delusional leadership would rather be taking a petty pissing contest with America's president than addressing the problems they're in charge of!

Opinion + anonymity = total dickbag.

Yeah I only use Twitter to follow artists but even so all this crud keeps seeping into my timeline...

I used to have twitter to follow some F1 stuff and other things, but after a few months I just couldn't stand it anymore. Everything was turning political and ugly and I had to get off. Pretty sure I'll never get back on twitter ever again.

The only social media I have is this website for exactly that reason. I don't need social media. At all. It's a stress that I don't want in my life. Fimfiction is different though, because the focus is on MLP and fanfiction, not politics. That's why I love THIS place and all my friends on here so much. Long live Fimfiction! :pinkiehappy:

There’s a reason I don’t use Twitter, or Twatter as I call it. I can say with certainty that if Twitter just stopped existing, humanity’s collective IQ and level of basic respect would jump 50 points overnight.

Can we just get Jack Dorsey kicked out of our country? He doesn't even apply the "Twitter Rules" unless people demand that he does. Laziest SOB in charge of tech EVER.

... Yeah you just summed everything up perfectly.

Don't ever step on there, it's a cesspool. Last time I went on there I felt like I had lost some IQ points :fluttershyouch:

I think of it as more of a celebrity stalking thing. (Not that I’m stalking Zac Efron or anything!):twilightsheepish:
