Yes, I am aware that this is an unnecessary blog post to make since a lot of people have taken down their own blog posts before but, since this is the first time I took down a blog post and the post in question wasn't breaking any site rules, I felt compelled to explain myself.
A while back, I (and many others) were trying to help out a user who had fallen on hard times. Of course, because I am not financially independent (or just not independent in general) and empathy isn't really my forte, my attempt at helping was a bit half-arsed and I mainly used it to express my own woes. Recently, the user in question had been arrested on charges of rape. Maybe he didn't do it but, since he is a part of a group on this site called "Rape", I wouldn't be too surprised if he was guilty as charged. That's the Weinstien effect for you.
Anyway, because of the user's vile crime coupled with my lack of enthusiasm for the blog post, I took it down. Can't be associated with a rapist, you know. Guess that's another one I can add to the list of people I'm disappointed with.
But on a lighter note, if he's found guilty, at least he no longer has to worry about being homeless. 
Man, I have a cruel sense of humour.
