I’ve given up on trying to keep up on my Feed notifications so I’ve Surely missed dozens of great news stories if not hundreds. So, I recommend to me some of the best stories on the site of 2020 that are comedies or slice of life. Caveats: for some reason I don’t like alternative universe is and because I get really bad secondhand embarrassment if you’re going to recommend romance, I prefer if the characters are already together instead of a bunch of cutesy blushing and awkwardness. Dark comedy is fine. I like stories with happy endings. Also I’m a coward so I prefer not super long stories but also if you can convince me to start a super long story if it hooks me I’ll definitely read all of it.
As for me hopefully eventually I’ll get back into writing more often. Have a great new night time delivery job and I am in the best position I’ve been in years financially to the point that I can start helping people again and I really fucking need to get around paying everyone for the feghoot contest it’s been like a year and a half. Fuck I need to get on that. Someone please ride my ass about that. Anyway I love you all and I’m still a communist and my boyfriend went back to Chicago on Wednesday and I don’t know I’m just rambling anyway yeah send me some story recs please
I rather enjoyed Resting Witch Face by Aragon. It's a 'silly shenanigans' story starring everybody's favorite narcissistic showmare, Trixie!
I also got a chuckle out of The Many Deaths of Twilight Sparkle by Jinzou. Twilight discovers she simply respawns on death. ScienceTM happens.

Resting Witch Face is a masterpiece and I’m quite jelly or Aragon’s writing abilities. The one thing that does make me feel better is he said he worked his ass off on it for like eight months so like a lot of effort did go into it.
And I literally just finished re-reading the Twilight dies repeatedly one, lol!
