So, about Ink and Flowers

It came to my attention that this work was stolen. And it was: by me.

A few years ago I was an active lurker in the Fairy Tail fandom. In a forum I frequent someone spread rumors that fanfiction was going to delete all M rated stories, in a panic I copied the one that I liked and saved it. Back then you could copy and paste directly from the website, I didn't bother to save the source, thinking it would be deleted anyway. Cut to 8 years later and I stumbled upon the file, thinking it was an unfinished story of mine I updated it for my current obsession.

But now I see that it was someone else's.

I apologize for all the confusion, the best I can do is delete it and offer this apology, and I feel especially bad since that story gained me some followers. The last thing I want is to gain a following on the back of someone else's hard work, so if you would like to unfollow me I'll understand.

On the other hand, I'm thinking of rewriting Ink and Flowers, following the same tropes but with my own words (since, as far as I know, people don't own tropes) and add Smoke and Peaches as the inspiration.

I'm curious what the original story was about (I didn't get to see the version you posted), as I can still find numerous iterations of Ink & Flowers/Flowers & Ink still available on fanfiction.net.

That was a hot story, and it's a shame that you had to delete it, but at least you're willing to admit your wrongdoing. That shows you have integrity and character.
