A truly excellent person by the name of Spaniard-Kiwi has managed to translate both stories for us. I don't speak Spanish, but if anyone does and would like to send them feed-back, the links to the translations are in the descriptions of those stories.
As to Starlight...yes, I am still working on it. I've got around 5k written. Not as much as I hoped for, but more than I think I expected considering the events of the last month.

I'm alright. Having those nightmares sometimes where I actually talk to my dad and he's sad he's dying, then wake up and realize he's already dead. Those hurt.
Keeping myself busy with woodworking projects, talking to friends, little events for the Starlight Over Detrot chatroom (we played Among Us the other night), and generally trying to take care of my partners.
It doesn't change how much I miss my dad. We spent years preparing for his death. We knew the heart condition would do it and it would be sudden. Nobody really knew how sudden.
I went to visit him earlier this year and just before that visit he'd actually wanted to re-schedule the visit to late-October because he was sick. I somewhat over-ruled that and now I'm glad I did. He got to meet my partners, see me, and he was in good enough condition to appreciate all of us.
He died surrounded by friends, in his sleep, having gotten to talk to me one last time before the end.
Starlight continues. I want it done before November. The election scares the pants off me and I can't think of anything less fulfilling than not having given you guys a good ending in the event America goes nuts.
