A little late but should probably get this out before I accidentally let another month pass. September was okay. Not as productive as I would've liked but what can you do.

In September I tried to make sure I wrote every single day, as sort of an experiment. Would it be more fruitful to make sure I squeezed in a little writing every single day or would it be better to count on alternating days of high productivity and no productivity? Well I suppose this answers the question. 100-500 words a day is a pitiful amount if I'm being honest but it is still something. Unfortunately that something wasn't enough to ensure I passed my goal or even surpass last month's writing. However, would I call it a failure? I'm going to tentatively declare that it wasn't. For whatever reason over the past few years September has been a good month for me to get back into writing. I recall the first time I ever managed to write every single day for a month was in September of 2017, I think.
Overall it shows a need to improve back to the levels of productivity I had in May, but I am still glad I managed to keep to my word and make writing a habit I stuck to every day this month. After so many months fighting with depression and getting nothing done, I realized even 100 words a day was 3k a month—that's still a potential chapter/story every month at the slowest of paces. Far better than nothing, to be sure.
For October I'm going to lower my goal back down to 30k words. An average of 1k per day, but my main focus will be trying to write every day as well as having those high-production days. Hopefully it will all even out.
One wrench in those gears has been not having a laptop anymore. Hopefully it will be fixed soon but with the part it needs taking weeks to come in it's going to be a drag trying to be as productive writing on my phone and desktop. Slowly but surely these stories will get done, at least. One Last Sunset and Starting from Scratch are both in their final stages. As I work around commissions, I'll be finishing those very soon and might be unveiling a new multi-chapter story before too long.
Overall not a terrible month. Still room for improvement though.

I’m not a physic but I’m guessing from how you’re doing I feel like something had knocked you down and stabbed you multiple times and yet you were still able to get back up and you’re still standing.

I have a goal of 30000 a month, but I sure as heck haven't reached that since summer when I had all the free time in the world. Honestly, I think 13000 is still pretty good. That's like 26 pages, which is the equivalent of a couple chapters.
