So.... my story of Nothing like a Home Welcoming was a complete failure in more then one way. WHile you may believe that, not every story should be sucessful, I am okay with that notion. I am okay with this story not being great. In fact I am honestly surprised this got a decent amount of ratings with a half and half. So Either way it was something.
My failure from this however is that the artist QueenCold, saw my story and Disliked her artwork used as a front image with a story focusing on foalcon.
Regardless that it may not be associated with real life acts of underaged characters, I can understand the concerns. Since I got the message, I removed it and felt a bit ashamed for it. Not at the artist, but for possibly ruinning the image associated with Queencold. I have asked for her art and/or story for my own and got them approved. But now, it seems I lost it and... I don't blame the artist for it.
In truth, I still support the artist and their descion. No one wants something to be associated with any kind of underage explicit materail(Even if the characters are not human to begin with.) While I accept that many don't like it, I write these stories mostly because it seems easier then most. I DO NOT CONDON... any kind of underage real life acts. I do not believe that its right nor should it be allowed anywhere.
But there are differences. I wanted to try and make comparissons with something but I don't want to make this seem bigger then it is.
I have since been forgiven by the artist but I will also continue to support them because they are an artist that just hopes to make people happy with their work. I ask that you do the same and make sure that their work is respected and cared for.
Now, as for the other side, the lighter side of things, yes the sequal is here and I will put more effort into this sequal and not let it dragon... heh.... Instead, I will force myself at least one chapter a month. Now, this one WILL NOT be as long as the original. 5 or 6 chapters maybe but not sure yet. Yes there will be explicit elements but not the main focus. Instead, this will be more focused on the effects of Equestria and the newly formed family. Time skips will happen do to the shortage of the story.
Lastly, the end for Smoldering start is coming soon with the final chapter being done this week. Dragon Lord was.... halted by reasons but the next chapters are planned and ready. All else will be completed. Thanks for standing by me.
Quite the story there. For me, its just a story and no one in reality was getting hurt or anything, so ehh.
Anyway, great to hear things are picking up again. Missed your great stories.

The story you have made seems good and entertaining to me, I think that there are people who do not like that type of scenario and exaggerate a lot because of what is read, but I can respect their point of view, since we all have different perspectives on many things that we see or read, but being clear and sincere, you have a great talent and a lot of imagination, and I hope you continue doing what you like.
It will be interesting to see how that coexistence or interaction between Dusk, his children and their mothers will be, I have no doubt that it will be more than uncomfortable later on because of everything that he went through with them, and that because of that, it is the children conceived, I really hope that Dusk can create bonds with his children despite the way things turned out and can forgive the villains (or in this case they are already ex-villains?).
Well, I think I exaggerated a bit, but this I wanted to say and completely vent, and never doubt yourself, you have talent and whenever you think that your work is not high, remember that there are people who admire your stories and support you ^^
