The final episode of season one: So in this epsiode we basiclly see the mane 6 confront the fact that the night they all have been wishing for so long to be special to end up being a huge dissapointment. I think they did an excellent job with this episode as it easily could've been a fluff piece where everything went perfect. But instead they showed the flaws in the mane 6's thinking in how the "grand galloping gala" in reality was boring and full of pompus unicorns and none of the characters got what they were looking for. But they decided to make the best of the situation in a very enjoyable way. Celestia was awesome in this epsiode and how she knew they were gonna make the party more lively! I love her and so glad she got a decent amount of screen time.
Random thoughts
Prince Blueblood in my opinion seemed to simply have been pampered his whole life seeing how he was surprised in how Rarity was asking him to do things. I don't think he was a jerk on purpose simply he was raised to think everypony was there to serve him.
Who knew that gardner would be such a fun character he was a good add on
Spike drinking hot cocoa and acting like hes at a bar was hilarous.
