This is just a silly idea I had a couple of days ago and wanted to share it with you guys 
Summary: Discord is kind and Fluttershy is chaotic. Full story below the doodles
Discord
1) Discord wasn't imprisoned by Celestia and Luna, after years of bringing chaos to Equestria he finds himself bored and lonely, Discord tries a lot of new chaotic ideas but the fear everyone has him is starting to weigh on him.
2) So the Lord of Chaos tries to seek advice from the only one who seemed willing to talk with him. Princess Celestia (as annoyed as she was) helps the draconequus to figured out that making ponies afraid of him was a bad idea and that maybe helping others would help Discord feel less lonely.
3) Of course, Discord uses his powers to help others in his own way, with references and colorful pranks. Ponies and other creatures are still wary of him but little by little he seems to make a difference. Discord learns to be kind to others and how rewarding it can be.
4) Every few years he teaches at Celestia's School for Gifted Unicorns about history, magic, and the history of magic. Of course, his classes are never boring!
Fluttershy
1) Fluttershy walks away during that faithful race, scared and confused about what the bullies were saying. Of course, she wasn't fast enough and ended up falling.
2) The Rainboom knocked Fluttershy out of the clouds and made her fall a little closer to the Everfree Forest, where a bunch of bats caught her by accident.
3) Fluttershy discovers her talent talking to animals when a young fruit bat tells her the problems they have when they try to feed from the Apple family orchard.
4) Feeling the helplessness of the fruit bats and relating to their struggles she decides to gather animals from the forest and starts bringing chaos to the apple farm.
5) After years living in the Everfree may have had some side effects on her mental state, living among the animals, hearing to the injustices they face, and despising pony-kind for the way they are dismissive of creatures in the forest she brings chaos to pony towns so the animal voices can be heard.
These are cool! I really like the idea of Discord being a history teacher. No better source than someone who was there themselves, right?

I know, plus his lessons would be really fun
I wouldn't mind seeing this expanded into a full story. Would be quite interesting to see the two meet each other. I can imagine that Rainbow would be worried about what happened to Fluttershy after the Sonic Rainboom.
