So I just learned that Microsoft just bought out Bethesda. I will not go into specific details because most of everyone on YouTube have already done that for me. But several months ago, we received rumors that something was going on between Konami and Sony. Of course, the former denied anything to do with the latter and it was the end of that. And I've ignored it for awhile up until now. So I'm gonna get into this; is it possible that Sony could buy out Konami...? I know it's a bit of a stretch to say that they can, but this question popped into my mind a moment ago. We haven't really gotten a solid title from Konami in about five years now and all we've really gotten were half-assed, looter shooter, pachinko games. Nothing has been done about it for a long time now and it's just gotten to me. Months ago, I've heard rumors that Konami was making two new Silent Hill games (one that's a survival horror and one that's a tell-tale kinda game) as well as a new Castlevania (one that's kinda like Bloodbourne). Haven't heard any news about a new Metal Gear Solid game, but I don't think we will since Kojima wants to do other things (not referring to Death Stranding). If the rumors were really true concerning Sony buying out Konami or making a deal with each other, I would've loved to see a new Silent Hill (just got into the series by playing Silent Hill 2) or perhaps even try out Castlevania (I'm considering give the games a shot. Plus, I played the rebooted games. So they don't technically count...?). But I would really love to play a new Metal Gear Solid game or even a new Zone of the Enders title. However, I don't think we will ever get those things since Konami has given us radio fucking silence. At the end of it all, it's only a rumor and at this point, anything can happen. If it's all true, then I will be the first person to say that we did it. If not...
But like I said, it's only a rumor and I will not take credit for saying that it's true. But if this is true...
However, this is all verbatim. At this point, anything can happen in 2020 and we just need to wait for something to happen. Words, let alone rumor speculation, won't do us any work. So we just need to get comfortable and wait. Anyway, that's all I have to say about the matter. I've grown up with Nintendo and Playstation my whole life. I can learn to live without if Microsoft decides to make all games exclusives. Still that would be a major dick thing to do.

Me too. Only downside is now we would have to pay extra for an Xbox if we wanna play Doom or Wolfenstein. I just want Konami to make video games again like the way they used to back in the 90s-2000s. It would be totally awesome if Sony would buy Konami, but I'm not gonna charge in without a confirmed source.

I heard months ago they were working on Metroid Prime 4 but decided to start over when realizing something was wrong.
Wished they made a Metroid collection honestly. would love to play it on the Switch a bunch.

Its a cyberpunk FPS shooter game made somewhere in 2005 or something for the PSP.

The first Konami game I ever played was the Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles game for the PS2, GameCube, and the Xbox (own the GameCube version). I also played the Metal Gear Solid series.
