Taking a break · 8:00pm Sep 20th, 2020
Wow. Over seven years. Honestly, it doesn't seem like that long. Then again, it never does when one looks back.
I have decided to take a break from writing MLP stories. I feel like I have hit a bit of a burnout point with it, and need to work on some other things. I mean, my last story took me a month and a half, and there were times where I was writing maybe one or two sentences a day. And that doesn't include the ones that I haven't published or hated and deleted.
At the same time though, I enjoy writing and can't stop doing it completely. So, I am going to take some time to work on other ideas, including other fandoms, and hopefully some original work of my own.
First, I want to say that I'm not leaving completely. I will still drop in to see what's getting published, and read some of the stories that are around here.
Second, I don't plan on this being a permanent end to my writing MLP fiction. I still have lots of ideas that I want to explore, and Pony Life (IF THEY EVER SHOW IT HERE IN THE U.S.!) and G5 may bring new ideas and inspiration as well as new fans. So I do intend to come back eventually.
At the same time though, I have to acknowledge the possibility that I won't write here any more after this. Like I said, I have been writing MLP stories exclusively for over seven years, and that meant I excluded all other things I could have. That was no intentional though. I had always planned to keep working on other matters, but for some reason, MLP took up nearly all my attention.
Hopefully that won't happen.
Until next time.
Ink Hoof.
Hope to see you again soon.
Your stories are great! I hope that you stay happy and safe wherever you go!
We'll miss you here, but not so much we're gonna hold you back. Go ... do what you need to do. And if you're posting non-Pony stuff elsewhere, would you please let us know where?
Where else can we find your work? does anyone
know?
