Walter Mitty, Part II

The Walter Mitty soundtrack continues to steal many spots in my playlists. It’s no wonder that it has stolen two spots so far. Still, there is good reason for it. Nearing the end of the movie, this track is used when Walter Mitty realizes the thing (the Quintessence) he’s been searching for was with him the whole time (Interesting to spell it out the double meaning right now, since it didn’t occur to me until I was writing this)
Similarly, this has an influence on the ending. It’s not much of a spoiler, since the thing that Diamond Tiara needed this whole time was with her the whole time. It was even with her at the very moment she entered Mane-hattan.
As the story has progressed, I noticed that there was a lot of uncertainty in what was going on with Dazzle. However, at the very end, just like Walter Mitty, you can find odd comfort in knowing that no matter how crazy life is, there are still some times to reflect and find peace in the present.
