Well, I am still alive and well. And the story is NOT dead but it's been in merely sleep mode as I try to mull over everything I need to do, but rest assured, I have NOT quit and I won't leave you hanging forever. Hey everypony it-a-me, MLPSolarDash1907 again! 
As some of you probably know, a hurricane by the name of Sally hit the Gulf Coast and the states of Missippi, Florida, and Alabama at its full force, with Alabama taking the brunt of the storm.
Thankfully, the worst of the storm did not affect me, but it did affect my area a good bit but my house is still standing, no trees fell in my yard or any power lines, thank God for that! 
But I had to clean up the debris in both my front and back yards the day before yesterday, and yesterday I had to help clean up my dad's parents yards and my mom's parents yards.
Because of this, development on my stories has been on a standstill because of the hurricane approaching and the aftermath, but I'm hoping I can get back to them as soon as possible and I've got my energy back.
I hope all of you are staying safe and well, I sure am thank God for that and thank Him for keeping my friends and family safe during the storm!
