Nailah as Snow Heart
Cara as Sil

Snow Heart

Snow Heart was wandering around the local town, she wasn't planning on stopping anywhere, nor did she have a destination in mind, she was just glad to get out of the castle and away from paperwork for a day. Or maybe two. Depending on how long her sister could keep it under wraps, but she knew she couldn't idle too long. She wasn't really paying too much mind to where she was going. She felt herself stumbling into another creature. She landed back on her rump, with an ooomph. "Sorry about that, I really should watch where I'm going." Snow Heart was a bat alicorn, and a Princess, but usually she hid that under her hoodie, but her hood had fallen backwards when she landed on her flank.

Sil

"Hey," a claw reached out to help Snow Heart up "Sorry about that, I get easily distracted." The gryphon gestured to the book tucked under their wing. "Don't think I've seen you around before." The gryphon pushed their glasses up their beak with a talon. "The name's Sil." Sil's longer pink crest feathers flopped over into their face. The gryphon blew out of the corner of their beak in an attempt to return it to its former state, but to no avail.

Snow Heart

"No need to appoligize, I bumped into you first." Snow Heart stated, as she brushed herself off, and allowed herself to be helped up back onto four hooves once more. She really should not dwell in her inner thoughts. Though she was surprised to see a gryphon, there were many of them around here, just like there weren't many bats like her, or thestrals to some. She never minded the term bat pony. She looked to Sil, and remembered she should introduce herself. "Oh I'm Snow Heart by the way. Kind of silly for me not to say so sooner!"

Sil

"Eh, you're fine. Falling over tends to do that to ya." The gryphon brushed their crest out of their eyes. "Hey, that's a nice hoodie. Know where I could get a new one?" They tugged on the gray hoodie they were wearing, and winced as the wing holes cut in the back ripped a little wider. "This one's wearing thin. Doesn't keep me as warm when I'm flying."

Snow Heart

"Oh this thing? Honestly, that Hot Topic store had a really good deal on hoodies, I got two for the price of one! It was great. I'll have to see if I have any I no longer want, and maybe I can give you one until you get there yourself. It's a really nice store. Oh my, I'm getting distracted." Snow Heart flushed slightly. "What was I doing again? Oh right! So Sil, what got you into mlp?"

Sil

"Watched it with my sister when we were younger. A whole lot younger. Y'know, it was advertised for her age group, and our parents made us take turns watching things. Being kids, we never wanted to miss out on any extra screen time we could squeeze in, y'know, so my brother and I sat through it. That's the beginning at least, next thing I know I'm the one picking MLP instead of her."

Snow Heart

"Woah, that's really cool!" Snow Heart smiled as she looked towards Sil. "My story is a lot different, but most people reading this already know, but all you really need to know is I love Rainbow Dash, and she is why I came here, but it's the people in the fandom that keep me here. I've never felt more home than I do in the mlp community. I've always struggled because I'm a Fluttershy type and it's hard for me to warm up to people, but when I do, I stick like glue. So you're stuck with me now." Snow Heart giggled. She probably should ask to be friends before assuming things!

Sil

"Understandable. Yeah, the community is definitely great. I haven't watched the show since what, the very beginning of season 5? Everything I know beyond that is all from fics that the community writes and the MLP movie from 2017." The gryphon rolled their wrist. "Characters are engaging, story is pretty decent, all that jazz." They smiled. "All in all it's a pretty good fandom to be a part of"

Snow Heart

"Yeah it's great. Oh the movie was awesome, I actually got to see it in theaters. I remembered having a total crush on a certain cat. But I got over it. Mostly." she admitted, blushing slightly as she rubbed her foreleg against the other. "But that's besides the point. So you say you like the community but well what inspires you to write?"

Sil

"I've just always liked writing. Exploring characters and really thinking about their motives and why they do the things they do. It's soothing, I guess, to be able to bring anything you want to life on the paper." Sil pulled their book from under their wing. "Also just the desire to get better at writing, hopefully to someday match those goliaths." They flipped it around. The Village Called Respite, it read, by Carapace. "Stories like this one, where the world is beautifully built, the story flows easily, and the characters are all well-rounded, fleshed out beings." They pushed their glasses up their beak again. "This is what I hope to be able to write someday."

Snow Heart

"Ah I see. That is a very good motivation. I am often told I am a decent writer, but I always find I have so much to learn. And I do recall how often my ex-stallion mocked me for writing pony words, but they make me happy, and make me feel like I'm a part of something. And that is a good feeling. One I hope never fleets." she smiled as she knew of Carapace, but had to admit she never talked to such an amazing pony. She often wondered was she worthy of these wings? So often she doubted herself. But she tried not to dwell on it. She looked at the book, very interested. "I have a book back home. It's rather old and dusty but I wrote it myself. No matter how many years pass, I'm so proud of myself for making it a reality." she spoke as she told him of a non-mlp story. One she wrote for years despite all the doubt that she'd never publish it. Buck all the disbelievers. She had proof of her awesomeness.

Sil

"I know what you mean, there's always more to learn. And just for the record, buck your ex. It makes you happy, that's what matters. And congrats on finishing a book. That's something I want to do, but with school and life and everything else, there's no way it's happening at this point in life."

Snow Heart

"Indeed, and don't worry, you have plenty of time to go and do that yourself. What matters most is believing you can do it, no matter what anyone tells you. I know for a fact that everyone and their brother told me I'd never publish that book and look at me now! Everyone thinks I'm famous. But I'm really not. I'm just a crazy bat pony that loves to help others bloom. Besides I don't know why so many follow me, I'm really not that interesting." she blushed slightly. Well at least she didn't feel that way for the LONGEST time. "But anyways, why don't you tell me more about this book that inspired you, or maybe you'd like to know about something you're working on?"

Sil

"You mean Respite? I wouldn't call it an inspiration, really, just something I'd like to live up to someday"

Snow Heart

"Oh well then, do you have a story that inspired you to write? It doesn't have to be mlp it can be anything!"

Sil

"Nothing really comes to mind immediately, I've just always liked writing. I drew upon Mistborn and Neverwhere to improve my own writing but no real inspirations, per se."

Snow Heart

"Ah, that's okay. I guess I was inspired by J.K Rowling myself. I wanted to be just like her when I was a young Snow. But well I think I found my own calling, and it's romance. I love horses making kissy faces." she chuckled, as she looked back at Silver* "So tell me is there anything you'd like to say about the person behind the gryphon?"

Sil

"They're nothing special. Just someone who likes writing horses kissing. Play way too much Destiny 2 for their own good, but hey, most of the time they can function in society."

Snow Heart

"Oh you like kissing horses too? Friendship!" she hugged Silver without even thinking about it, she felt filled with joy, to meet someone that shared similar likings to her own, but she really should ask first!

Sil

"Heheh," Sil chuckled nervously and removed Snow Heart's legs from around them. "Thanks?"

Snow Heart

"Sorry, I got excited." *She backed away a bit, as this suddenly felt awkward. She should say something. Anything. "Who's best pony? Or creature."

Sil

"Don't worry about it, happens to the best of us. I think my favorite has got to be Spitfire. I can't really explain why, I just think she's cool. Redheart and Zecora are also up there."

Snow Heart

"Rainbow Dash." She smiled proudly. "But you probably figured that out. So...is there anything you wanna ask me?"

Sil

"Not off the top of my head, but I'll find you if I have anything."

Snow Heart

"Well I'm not hard to find. Being a Princess is exhausting." she admitted as she sighed. "So much to do, so many creatures and ponies to see. I just hope I'm helping in some way. That is why I do this really, to help others." she told him, as she looked to him one last time. "Wanna be friends?"

Sil

SIlver stuck out a curled claw for a hoofbump. "Friends."

Snow Heart

She hoof bumped Silver back and let out a scree "Yay! Oh and thanks for letting me interview you. You seemed cool, and I was a little nervous I'll admit, but it was fun! I hope you had fun too."

Sil

"Yeah, I had fun. I gotta run now, but I'll talk to you later!"
