So I'm not sure how long this has been out for... but it looks like MLP:FiM was given the Teen Titans Go! treatment that seems to being implemented with new shows everywhere.
To be honest it seems like one of the few times the TTGo treatment makes a show significantly better in some aspect. By which I mean I'm liking the increased focus on comedy and gags. It actually accentuates the comedy that was already present in MLP, and simultaneously removes what seemed like the "weakest" point in FiM: The cringey clash between it being a show for children and the grown adults in the show frequently not utilizing common sense.
Don't get me wrong, I love how the show was while it was going... but most of the episodic conflicts in the later seasons just had me repeatedly thinking "Oh COME ON!!!" to whatever character happened to be dealing with said conflict at the time.
And additionally, now they can just throw logic out the window and have everypony in the show display Pinkie Pie's crazy 4th wall breaking cartoon shenanigans... and then have Pinkie herself be even crazier for the lulz. XD
It certainly has a charm
I just wish Pony Life never happened at all. It is a disgrace to the MLP Franchise. -_-

Same, but I know enough about it to know that I wouldn't watch it past the first few seconds. Pony Life on the other hand, I actually enjoy watching the quirky humor. I actually laughed hard enough to cry a little when I first saw Twilight literally shatter to pieces. Applejack made it even better when she said, "...well, we've lost Twilight" as Gummie vacuumed her up. XD

Well, if they're annoying to you, then they're annoying to you. I can't do anything about your personal preference.
I'm saying that I like Pony Life because I don't have to take it seriously at all for how it's formatted. That was my biggest issue with FiM as it got into the later seasons, since it was still semi-serious in certain parts. And, actually... now that I think about it, Pony Life is good enough that I think it would be better to compare it to RWBY Chibi than to Teen Titans Go.

I guess.... but having a show rely on just comedy alone like Pony Life for example doesn't work out so well. :/

Really? Cause I can think of several shows that do exactly that and they turn out fine. I think that shows that rely on only comedy aren't inherently bad, they just have nothing to fall back on for audience appeal if the comedy falls flat. When the comedy works though, it works.
