A translation finished and another new one.

So the Chinese translation of A Friend of the Night I mentioned a few posts ago got finished today. Find it here. It was quite a ride to follow it, even though all I could do was get a 'close enough' translation from Google Translate. It was interesting, seeing through post scripts and such, some of the difficulties that translating comes with. A few

As I'm finally getting around to resurrecting it, I figured a quick story recap of Time Keeps Wibbling On would be appreciated so:

"Friend of the Night" getting a Chinese translation.

I was contacted by a fan by the handle of "Professionalism" who asked me if they could translate "FotN" into Chinese. I said yes, naturally :)

A translation finished and another new one. · 8:42am Sep 16th, 2020

A few turns of phrase that I didn't even think twice on, such as "throwing the gauntlet" and multiple instances of Discord's dialogue, came with little post scripts to clarify the slang and references.

In other news Spike's Hoard got a surprise Spanish Translation as well, read here. This one I was able to actually read through myself (albeit slowly and stumblingly) and can verify it as a very good Spanish interpretation of the piece.

I'm always very thankful when my work inspires other work, whether it be fanart, audio books, or translations, so I figure the least I can do is give proper shout outs when it happens. I'm not as active as I used to be, but I totally love you guys :D

Yes, I just finished reading the Chinese version, which enjoyed very much.

I left some comments in the comments area of the translation, then I translated and posted them here because I think the original writter should also get some compliments and love!

(I'm a translator too, but my works are not so good, lol. )

Have a follow!
