How do you think ponies are able to pick up objects as if they had human hands?
My theory is that all ponies have some sort of passive telekinesis magic in their hooves. Would it be impossible for them to pick up objects without something like this?

They have a limited amount of flex and grip with their hooves.
Because they are magic talking cartoon ponies and not real life horses.
Everything has a magic polarity to it and hooves just work like a magnet but at will.

yeah, its magic. They can also move their tails and sometimes their manes to hold stuff, similiar to bayonetta. Overall, they seem to have a RWBY-style protective aura, thats why they can survive anvils falling on them, and magic beams, strong enough to blast through Stone, only knocks them back a few feet. Tirek has proven, that earth-pony strength is based on magic, since he was able to steal it, so its all based on magic biology.

I wouldnt call them op, at least in equestria. They live in a world with hydras, manticores and chimeras running around. so in their world, theyre apropriately balanced. I Always look at Shows, as if they were Video games. If theres a game balance and a certain amount of logic, behind the characters abilities, its awesome, cause i can wonder About, how the characters can get out of certain situations. but if theres no logic behind it, stuff just happens on screen, and i get bored.
