Plans for Windigo Whisperer May be Canceled

Negative reactions for Chapter 5 of the series have honestly made me contemplate canceling my plans to turn Windigo Whisperer into a longer series. Despite the fact that Sombra's appearance in the series was always planned, even someone who initially loved the story enough to do cover art for it did not enjoy his debut. I originally planned to introduce even more characters and more world-building as the story progressed, but already, it seems people are tired of the story. If that speculation isn't true, you need to tell me now. I will not give you more of what you don't like.

I think it was more shooting the cast down on the lack of knowledge on what happens by that I mean the main 6 but I’m curious how it plays out

There are going to be more chapters and there will be a proper ending to the series. It's just that if this continues, my long-term plans will be canceled and the story will proceed as a short series as originally planned. I'm giving it one or two more chapters to see what people think.

I’m not tired of your story. A bit confused at the somewhat sudden progression and introduction of Sombra, but no tiredness. In fact the fast advancement is wonderful! Too many stories go for the long run 200,000 word minimum and write a ton of filler chapters with little development of their own characters. In short, your story is great, you do you, and keep on writing this great adventure!

The importance of Sombra in the story will be made absolutely clear in the next chapter if it isn't clear already, and I'm very glad that some people do enjoy the fast advancement of the story because I too dislike that about slow-paced stories that pad things out for length. Regardless, I always write expecting things to balloon out longer than I expected and always take my time when that's the case. Also, if you read the story slowly and go back to previous chapters, you see where things were gradually leading too. Your support is extremely appreciated!
