First Blog Post!

Hey everyone!

So, prepare to see a dated statement: I was afraid of being a brony because i thought people would make fun of me.

I know, right? "Someone afraid of being a brony? IN 2020?!" but yeah, it was like that.

I first realized I'd like MLP when I saw a clip from a Better Together short of SciTwi cleaning up a classroom, followed by a clip of Twilight saying "Cupcakes" i think? What can I say, Twilight is cute!

But I didn't let myself like it because the idea of liking it made me afraid of being mocked. So, just like with my sexuality (Bi-Romantic!) I denied who I was for years.

But inevitably I was gonna love MLP! A well written show with lovable characters with well defined flaws all learning to improve while also being really funny and cute? OFC I'D LOVE IT!

I got into it around about the beginning of this year, and MLP has really really helped me, FIM and EQG! It makes me want to be the best guy I can be!

So I've decided to write some fics! Well, I guess, I already wrote a few (I have another Octascratch one and a Rarijack one coming up!), but I have a few major projects I wanna tease here:

1. X-Mares

Basically, what if the powers in Equestria Girls were seen as less magical and more monstrous. Using the plots of certain X-Men media, and combining it with the plot of Equestria Girls and FIM in a way, I have crafted an original story about a bunch of different people coming together to save the world and themselves. I fell in love with this idea more than I thought I would, and I am excited to share it with you! First Chapter is waiting for approval and should be out in a few days I would assume, and the second chapter is already done!

2. Justice Mares

A DC cinematic universe that doesn't suck, now with more ponies! I love DC Comics, and while I hope one day to be able to make at LEAST a Superman quadrology, I know I might never be able to, so at least I can try with MLP characters! I don't want to reveal too much yet, but the first story will be a Superman one, featuring everyone's favorite farm pony gaining powers from a meteroite (as you can see, I'm taking a few liberties with the source material).

Those are the 2 major projects, and I have a ton of smaller, fun AU's like one about Sunset's life after the first EQG movie that would act as her diary of sorts, one about Applejack from FIM and Applejack from EQG trying to help each other with their relationship problems, one about Fluttershy trying to be more confident about her feelings for Rainbow, and accidentally turning into a Discord-esque version of herself, one about a car garage AU, and ETC. ETC. ETC.
