    Audiobook Announcement

I'm excited to announce that I'm working on an audiobook for Hooves of Fate. I started with Chapter 63: Rivers. This way, long-time readers of HoF can reorient themselves to the momentum of the story before the upcoming release of Chapter 64 (text) this Saturday.

    The Voice of the People

They can cancel Friendship is Magic. They can cancel Make Your Mark. But they can never silence the voice of the people.

    Flurry Heart's Reign of Terror

I stayed up till 2am last night talking with a friend - orchestrating a plot - theorizing what precisely it would take for (young adult) Flurry Heart to successfully depose both of her parents, and Twilight Sparkle.

Non Sequitur - The Last Airbender · 6:42am Sep 1st, 2020

I am an animation fan, as I'm sure you all are as well, or else you probably wouldn't be here, devoting so much of your energy to discussing colorful horses. However, there is one thing that sets me apart from literally every other animation fan on the planet - I have never seen Avatar: The Last Airbender, and I have miraculously managed to go fifteen years without getting exposed to a single spoiler.

Now that the show is on Netflix, I am finally watching it, and I know literally nothing about the series except what I have seen so far in the first four episodes.

My question to you is this: If I were to write a blog of my naive reactions to the series as I slowly caught up, would any of you folks be interested in reading my reflections?

My Heart Full of Pony essays here have a decent following, and I have all of you to thank for that, but in those essays, I dissect microscopic details of the show in search of philosophical truths. My blind reactions to Avatar, on the other hand, would be the total opposite, as I know literally nothing about The Last Airbender, and would ultimately end up bumbling along, writing predictions, interpretations, and musings that will probably turn out to be dead wrong.

Would this interest you? Also, where should I publish it? Tumblr? I have no idea.

P.S. Don't worry, I still have scads to write about as I rewatch My Little Pony: Friendship is Magic, so an Avatar blog would not take any time or energy away from Help! My Heart is Full of Pony!

P.P.S. I would set up a totally different Patreon account for this blog so that fans of my pony writing wouldn't get billed for Avatar essays they're not interested in, and vice versa.

P.P.P.S. What should I call such a blog? CluelessTLA? CluelessAvatar? AvatarReactions?

P.P.P.P.S. I'd really appreciate feedback, Thanks,

I’d be really interested in that, I love your posts here.

I think they'd be pretty neat, and I see no reason why you wouldn't be able to just post them here.

I can't think of a reason why NOT, so sure, even if it's the Pony stuff I'm after.

I don't have anything to say about this, to be honest. I don't watch non-pony shows (except for "The Walking Dead" once a year and I might watch "Doctor Who" one day, but only because of the pony connection it has and I wanna see where the pony Doctor comes from, and the former is even completely stalled ever since MLP: FiM ended), so I don't have any interest in that show.
I just want you to continue "Help! My Heart is Full of Pony!" in your usual way and with the usual frequency.

Edit: Though, I would prefer if you made its own Tumblr blog for this, I don't like non-pony stuff in my feed and, considering that MLP: FiM is over now and G4 nears its end, it wouldn't be the wisest idea to advertise a different show on a MLP: FiM site. In these times, we need to keep our horseapples together.

I think I'd be interested, aye. :)
As for where to publish it, oh, I assumed you'd just be doing it here. If not here, then yeah, I don't know, sorry.
And glad you're enjoying the show. :)

(Nor do I have any ideas about naming it at the moment, though, sorry.)

(I watched through the series years ago and enjoyed it. I watched some of the sequel series some time later but also by this point, I think, years ago, but that, while I found it still had its interesting points, didn't hold my interest as much. I did watch some SF Debris videos on the show past the point I stopped watching it, though.)

My having another blog wouldn't affect the frequency of my posts here. In fact, I too, have little time for television, so I imagine my Avatar blog would be fairly slow.

I'm probably not going to straight up post Avatar content here because the mission of FimFic is pony-specific, though I'll probably end up posting links so that my readers here have a way of knowing if there's new Avatar content that I've written.

Somehow missed this when you posted it. For the record, I too would be interested.
