    Supermassive 2023 Art Dump

So! Back. Not dead. Big surprise. Life's been kinda hectic for awhile now for a variety of reasons I won't go too much into, but I've had a nice long break and am feeling ready to get back to a semi-regular writing schedule! However, I have still been doing art for the past,,, six months, has it really been that long? Jeez. So, here's a big ol' pile of stuff that I haven't shared here, by month.

Nothing like a hard day’s work to get up an appetite.
tbh, this might be one of the best things I’ve ever drawn in terms of anatomy and shading.

Story Update and Special Guest-pert Question Submission · 3:39am Aug 26th, 2020

Hey all! It's been awhile since I've made a post just to update, because I've been busy helping my dad on the farm and also time is broken. But now school's started again and I have a little more free time and organization in my life. So, here's the news.

I've just started publishing Book 3 of Ruler of Everything, and I'm pleased to say that I've just finished writing the final chapter this past week, which is a jolly weight off my chest, let me tell you what. It's four books in length, 52 chapters, and by my count, it's slightly longer than Moby Dick, which I am obscenely proud of.

Once the last chapter is up, I'm going to be taking a break from the Wibblyverse for awhile. This story has taken a lot out of me. I'm going to be trying to work on some of my old unfinished works, especially Friendship 101, Visitation, and Call of Cthulestia.

That said, I'm also working on a second episode of My Little Pony, My Little Pony, and Me, on the grounds that we're all in need of a good chuckle and I really enjoyed writing the last one. In this one, there's going to be a Special Guest-pert segment, one who claims to be an expert on history, public policy, and pastries. That said, if there's a degree on her wall, well, I haven't seen it. If you have a question in one of those topics, please submit it for consideration in the comments below. More general questions for the brothers McColtroy to answer are also always welcome.

Please stay safe and well. These are troubled times we live in, but I truly believe that we can pull through it together.
Best wishes,

I thought it was thirteen chapters to the book. Can't believe we're just past the halfway point on that beast. :twilightoops: Well, let's move on to that lighter note.

To the Guest-pert:

• Given Nightmare Moon, Discord, Sombra, and Tirek, I have to ask: Is "a thousand years ago" just the historians' preferred term for "We have no idea when this happened"?
• Does Ponyville have practice drills for monster attacks/wild weather/general shenanigans/what-have-you, or is the running and panicking all played by ear?
• Has anypony tried to recreate baked bads as a military resource, or would that violate the Geneighva Convention?

To the brothers:

A kirin moved in recently, and the two of us formed a fast friendship. I have a "welcome to the neighborhood" pepper-grilling party coming up, and I want to know if it's out of line to ask my neighbor to light the briquettes as part of being the guest of honor. I know, I know, asking Yahoo rather than just asking her, but it feels terribly awkward to discuss something like that with her. Still, I just want to light up the grill, not my whole backyard. Thoughts?

Marvelous! Looking forward to all of it!
