Hello there. Here is my review of MLP: FIM season 9 episode 15 2, 4, 6 Greaaat. I don’t even want to discuss that ridiculous and silly title right now. Let’s talk about another piece of shit episode of this season. My goodness, this episode was so BORING!! There is literally nothing good about this episode AT ALL!! Once again, we have another buckball themed episode that I just hate in this series. At least Common Ground was more interesting than this one. This one felt as if the writer of 2,4,6 Greaaat did not watch any other Rainbow Dash episode that came before this especially the ones of the earlier seasons. How can anybody like this episode? So let’s talk about how atrocious this episode really is:

The episode starts with the idiotic Twilight Sparkle telling Pinkie Pie, Fluttershy, and Snails (I hate seeing his face) that Celestia has organized a Buckball League between her School of Gifted Unicorns and the School of Friendship. She authorizes them to be the coaches of the school since they are professional buckball players. Then Rainbow Dash comes over and volunteers to be a coach for them as well, but idiot Twilight says otherwise. She assigns her to be the cheerleading coach. Rainbow gets annoyed with that as she despised cheerleading... WHAT... the... HELL?!?!?

Seriously?? So all the previous cheerleading Rainbow has done before in the past eight seasons were just... nothing?? Why? Why was she against it?? Additionally, why couldn’t Pinkie Pie be the cheerleading coach because... you know... SHE ACTUALLY CELEBRATES AND CHEERS EVERYONE IN EQUESTRIA, DAMN IT!!!!!!! Fluttershy, Pinkie, and Snails are not the only skillful players of the game, Twilight! So is Rainbow! But idiot Twilight insists that she is the right pegasus for the job. True, because Rainbow has wonderfully done cheerleading before.

In fact, Rainbow was the one who taught Fluttershy about cheerleading. You know, that very scene where Fluttershy squeaked her famous “yay”? But now Rainbow doesn’t want to do it for the entire school? What was it in the students that hesitated her from taking on the task? NEVER EXPLAINED!! REASONS ARE IMPORTANT, WRITER!!

Thus, Rainbow makes no effort in being an enthusiastic cheerleading coach for the cheerleading squad. Oh, and what do we have here? Shimmy Shake and Lighthoof? Hey there, my little new characters! Have fun for just one episode while we do nothing to develop your personalities! Okay, the episode is over! Goodbye and never come back! 😊
Ughhh, I HATE new characters who just come by for one episode and then disappear. Why even bring them here in the first place?

Anyway, Rainbow sees everything wrong with their cheerleading skills: Yona keeps stomping around that interrupts the cheerleading rhythm of Lighthoof and Shimmy Shake, Smolder is unenthusiastic in her cheering, and Ocellus is too quite when cheering... like Fluttershy. Rainbow dismisses them as she thought cheerleading in sports was unimportant and tries to leave until Snails grabs her tail to advise her to train them properly. Good job, Snails! Good jo—oh wait, so that he could profit from that for his buckball souvenirs. I take my compliment back. Screw you, Snails.

Later on, she keeps shifting responsibility unto others for coaching her team, but as seen with Snails, it failed miserably. So Smolder rightfully tells her off to do what Twilight told her to do, but Rainbow was like, “Nah, fuck you, and fuck this team.” Somebody just killed Rainbow Dash’s character here. Somebody assassinated Rainbow with a sniper, skinned her corpse, decorated himself with her skin, and pretended to be her. That’s what happened.

After having her friends help her per Snails’ advice, things appeared to go well until it all went downhill due to Rainbow’s lack of direction. Her continual dismissal of cheerleading provoked Yona to tears and ran away crying; Ocellus did likewise after being fed up with her stubbornness, and how does Rainbow Dash react to that?

“Whoa. Ponies might actually care about cheer squad if she cheered like that all the time.”

This is exactly how I felt when she said that. This is the most un-Rainbow Dash thing she has ever said in this entire series. You know, this makes me hate her even more. Of course, I never liked her to begin with. She might as well be served for dinner for Shenzi, Banzai, and Ed.

At the end of the episode, Twilight reveals how that she wanted to put Rainbow in that position to teach her a lesson: it’s not about having to care what ponies and creatures like but it’s more about caring ponies and creatures themselves that should motivate us to do the right thing. Once again, we have a great moral that was butchered by horrible execution and resulted in Rainbow Dash’s character being brutally regressed. Twilight was such an idiot doing that and trying to be like Celestia. Speaking of whom, Celestia’s cheer was pure cringe. Ughhh...

I hate this episode; it is so boring, unimaginative, and uninspiring. I raise my flag with an F on it. BOOOO!!!

See ya.

Hey Mr. J (chuckle), you want to know what I know Oculles, Smolder, and Yona are in a fan fiction other than cheerleaders?

It's actually pretty cool, but okay.

Speaking of Celestia, am I the only one who clearly thinks her Buckball team cheated their way to win? :/

Yeah, I have a weird feeling about this episode. The Only reason I watch it is because of Yona, Smolder and Ocellus and that’s it. This is like one of those worst episode in MLP history

5342777
Mind replying to my comment for me? :3

Yep. You just explained every single reason why this is by far my least favorite episode of the entire season.

5342785
So King.... am I the only one who thinks Celestia's Buckball team clearly cheated their way to win the game? :/

5342797
Okie. :)

So what do you think: I mean, she clearly cheated by having her team being all unicorns and just putting lame enchantments on them. I mean, those along with magical wings don't make you a pegasus or earth pony at all. :/

5342783
-awaits the reply- ^^'

5342760
Yeah, I think her team cheated in some way

5342803
I mean.... she clearly used an all unicorn team. That's completely unfair.

5342805
Yep.

If anything, Ponyville's Buckball team should be declared the true and actual winners since they clearly had the right ponies: Earth Pony (Pinkie), Unicorn (Snails), and Pegasus (Fluttershy).

5342804
Yeah, it is unfair. And I didn’t notice that since this episode pretty much bad for me to watch. Beside some of the young six moments since they are the only thing that can redeem this episode for me

5342810
Though you gotta admit though: Shimmy Shake's and Lighthoof's designs were pretty amazing as well as the Cheerleading outfits. X3

5342811
Yes, they are. Shimmy Shake and Lighthoof are one of the few good moments of season 9 and glad the writer adds them. And the design of the cheerleading outfit. Prefect.

Wise words, friend. Wise words.

Fuck, I got Snips and Snails’ names mixed up. That was Snips, the round blue colt I was talking about. Shit, I messed that up.

I’m only gonna say this once:

I absolutely, positively, HATE the Nostalgia Critic!
