It runs like hot garbage (below 60 fps on my 6700k 1080 Ti rig), has horrible control issues (plane pitches up when joystick is at rest), and is all around not enjoyable like I had hoped.

I got the $120 version cuz I wanted all the nice pretty planes (and cuz my dad owns a Cirrus SR20; the SR22 just has a better engine); I wanted to be able to let him fly it in game.
I was planning on upgrading to a maxed out rig later this year, but god damn, even at medium settings at 1440p, you'd think I'd be able to run this game well, but noooooope.

I grew up playing all sorts of flight sims with my dad, going all the way back to Jetfighter III. His entire career has been flying planes, both military and civilian. This one does perform and look better than those old games for sure, but man, either they need to optimize this one or I need to throw down a shit ton of money to buy a PC that'll actually run this game well.

I miss buying a game and getting a great experience right off the bat. Sure there'd be glitches, but the game generally felt good. Since like 2014 it seems like every game is shoved out a few months early just to hit that quarter to get investors and what not. It's just wild man.

I got a Gigabyte GTX 1070, i7-6700k at 3440x1440 (high settings) and I'm averaging 50fps. The only complaint I have is the load times and frequent crashes.
