Oh hey, 300 blog posts! · 2:29pm Aug 16th, 2020
It's an arbitrary number that means nothing! Yay internet!
And naturally, I will mark the occasion by making a horrible joke that I'm sure somebody else has done before. As apparently, the newest thing on the hip hop music charts is a song called WAP. I'm only aware of it 'cause it's apparently made some people clutch their pearls and lose their monocles as they are so scandalized that someone would write a song about sex. Le gasp.
Still, a title like that almost demands a horrible ponification. I mean, it's right there in the acronym.
Wet.
Ass.
Pony.
If I had any skill at video editing (which I don't), it might be fun to put together a thing where ponies rap the lewd lyrics, because juxtaposition is funny like that. (Remember My Little Wu-Tang?). Or, barring that, I'm halfway tempted to write some dumb almost-a-clopfic in which Rarity keeps on getting herself purposefully caught out in the rain 'cause it reminds her of that slumber party with Applejack and it's always a good excuse for her to get pampered and snuggled in a big fluffy towel (preferably by Applejack) afterward. Which seems like a weird kink until you actually look at the featured box with the "Mature" switch on. Ya bunch of pervos.
But! I just gave the joke away, and I've got other stuff that I'm working on these days, so sadly such a silly fanfic will go on my pile of fic ideas I'll never write, along with stuff like Starlight and Trixie's Excellent Adventure and ...
Wait.
Shoot, now that I'm kicking around ideas, I realize I could have a lot of fun with Starlight and Trixie's Excellent Adventure. Metatextual fun, even, which is the best kind. Might wait 'til Bill & Ted Face the Music comes out first, though. Gotta chase that zeitgeist.
Still! Likely won't be for a long time yet.
Hope the rest of y'all are doing well, though. Stay safe, stay home, wash your damn hands, etc.
Wouldn't a "wet ass pony" just be a moistened mule?
Now there's a word I don't hear often.
Heh. Yay, arbitrary celebrations!
Starlight and Trixie's Excellent Adventure is a magnificent idea! I'm surprised there weren't Bill & Ted references somewhere in MLP, actually.
