Our Day in Disdain update #2 · 10:36am Aug 16th, 2020
I said in my last blog that chapter 2 would be up when the cover pic was finished. Well I lied. Well, I kinda didn't. It implied that they would be going up together, but after finishing revising the chapter I got impatient and published it.
So Chapter 2 is live now:

Also I'm working on a playlist for Our Day in Disdain to keep all of my musical inspiration in the same place, and it's already over 150 fuckin songs.
There's some Tool, Some Acid Bath, a lot of Streetlight Manifesto, and so many others. I've also started putting the musical inspirations for scenes in the author's notes of each chapter; so be sure to check those out as well!
Other things worth mentioning:
- Chapter 2 is 300 words longer after revision
- I also fixed the chapter name for chapter 2 that didn't fit my usual naming convention; it's been bugging me for like 6 years
- Chapter 2 has an interlude in the author's note that has been private since 2012, figured I'd throw it up there cause I liked it too much to have it go unnoticed.
