Hello everyone! I'm back!
So I know that none of you heard anything from me since April. I kinda just disappeared. But I am still alive and well. Or... I'm alive anyway.
So we've all gone through some major changes with COVID, riots, killer bugs, and whatnot this year. I am working from home and quanrantining like we're all supposed to do. Unfortunately, ever since working from home where you'd think I have even more time to write... the opposite has been the case. It's been very difficult for me to get into a creative headspace while living where I do. My wife says I haven't been getting any "me time" since being cooped up in here. All I know is that the lack of socialization is hitting me hard.
I've been struggling with major depression which has just been getting worse over time from May to June to July, and so forth. I am still very much struggling with it. It's affected more than just my writing but my entire living situation as well. I definitely have a lot to be grateful for in my life but that hasn't stopped this condition from severely hampering all that I do and love. The social distancing has taken a very heavy toll on me and I do not have a lot of personal outlets to help me deal with this.
Anyways, back on point here. My story will continue!!! I will not be giving up. I will not be abandoning this story even if my physical or mental health forces me to take a hiatus from time to time. But for now I am back writing again and I'm very happy about it. I'm not in any danger from riots or anything. Im safe from COVID for the time being. And hopefully I'll be back to uploading a chapter at least once a week again.
It's wonderful to hear from you once again, and you brought wonderful news, that your safe and sound as well as your family in this state of madness.
I understand your situation completely as I'm having similar problems. Just stay safe and do what you can, try not to push yourself too hard.
