Equestria Girls Sadfic: A False Victory

(This is an alternate Ending to Equestria Girls: Friendship Games).
Plot: Daydream Shimmer was at Midnight Sparkle's mercy, not even this new power could defeat her. Sunset tried to reason with Midnight, hoping that The girl she once knew would listen, but her words have no effect on the power-mad she-demon. Left with no other options, Sunset had to use the same spell her mentor princess Celestia used to banish Nightmare Moon. She then uses it, as Midnight is engulfed by infernal light and is sent towards a star, which then glowed a bright purple after the spell had worked. Everything was quiet, all the portals had closed, and Sunset returned to her normal form. Even though everyone was celebrating since the world had been saved, Fluttershy saw Sunset burst into tears. After Fluttershy asked why she was crying, Sunset said she had to use a spell that had banished Midnight to a star for 1000 years, the same spell Celestia used to banish Nightmare Moon. Now everyone knew that even though the world was saved, this was no victory. Sunset had banished Sci-Twi for 1000 years, and this is a fact that will haunt Sunset for the rest of her life.
