Twilight is sitting at the breakfast table, looking quite smug and happy. Spike walked over, raising a scaly brow.
Spike: "You're in a good mood. What did you do?"
Twilight: "I figured out a way to cheer Shepherd up! I cast a spell on him."
Spike: "A spell? What kind of spell?"
Twilight: "A perception spell!"
Spike: "You didn't just twist him into falling in love with you, right?"
Twilight: "Spike! I would never do that!"
Spike: "Sorry, sorry! But what does the spell do?"
Twilight: "It adjusted his perception so that he perceives every pony he sees as a human! That way, he'll feel a lot more comfortable for a day or two, and not so homesick!"
Spike: "Huh. That's actually pretty nice of you, Twilight. Though is he actually okay with spells being cast on him without his permission?"
Twilight: "It's not harmful! I made sure I did it properly, and there will be no side effects! I assure you, when he gets here, he'll be happy I did this for him!"
Shepherd bursts into the library, and slams the door shut behind him. His eyes are wide and bloodshot, and his chest is heaving.
Twilight: smiles uneasily "Um... Hello Shepherd? How was your morning?"
Shepherd: "Twilight! You gotta help me! I'm seeing every single pony as-as a human!" He stared intently at Twilight's chest, calming down "Haa... Haa..."
Twilight: "Oh! Isn't that good? You see, I-"
Shepherd: "I'm seeing every pony as a naked human!"
Twilight: "Ah... is that a problem?"
Granny Smith: From outside "Shepherd? Ya ran off before ah could thank y' fer pickin' up mah groceries! Ya ran off screamin'! You awright?"
Shepherd: Grabs Twilight and buries his face in her chest, sobbing "YES."
Spike: "No side effects, huh?"
Twilight: "Um... Oops..."
