It's been a while, so I thought I'd stop by and say, "Hey!" How have all of you been? Good, I hope.
I've been doing the usual. Working, then writing, as well as trying to develop a better social presence and continuing to improve my craft as a writer.
My non-pony story is still going great. In fact some days I can't bring myself to stop working on it. Currently, I'm winding down chapter 14. After which, six remain, for the first arc. As for my new pony story, it's still coming along nicely. I'm about half way with the third part, which puts the project itself at the halfway point too.
One thing I've discovered over the past several months is the value or doing research. While fictional stories are made up, they do have to follow a logical path and depending on when and where that is, I found it helpful to research a wide variety of topics. Some days, as I write, I have to keep going to my browser to Google words, origins of various objects and countless other things, even like the process of working in a blacksmith's shop, or playing a harpsichord. It's been a real eye-opener.
