Fun with Hurricane Preparations (and Other Updates) · 2:43pm Aug 1st, 2020
Hey, all. I just wanted to post to apologize for not coming through on the stories I posted about in my last blog. Not only did I have writing assignments outside of pony I needed to focus on, I was also moving out of my dormitory. And today, twenty-four hours after leaving said dorm, I find out another hurricane is heading our way. Suffice to say, I've had other things on my mind. I'm not going to make any more promises about when I upload the next round of fics, given how generally hectic this year has been and the potentiality of a storm hitting my house.
I'm also posting this blog just in case something goes wrong on my end. It shouldn't; Isaias isn't projected to go over a Category 1 storm and I survived through the 2004 storms/Matthew/Irma which were far worse, but I've grown paranoid over the years about sudden death and silence on my end. My grandfather passed away back in November quite suddenly, and Brad Watson, a writer whose work I respected and whom I actually talked to in university back in October, died last month too. I know it's unlikely as hell anything's going to happen to me, but I wanted to post something just so somebody would know I'm still here.
