Sunset Shimmer, a rough and tough tomboy, falls for Twilight Sparkle, a nerdy, high-achieving girl.

Similarities to High School Muscial:

• Title works very well. Just add "Canterlot" to the beginning.
• Same bad-boy/good-girl dynamic. Sunset is like Troy, the rough and tough guy, while Twilight is the studious, goody-two-shoes scholar.
• They're both kids shows. They're both set in a high school. There's a lot of sing-a-long music. Dude. Equestria Girls is basically horse-girl High School Musical.

Differences with High School Muscial:

• More furries.
• More lesbianism, unless you ship Sharpay with Gabriela (if so, DO send me fan fiction).
• How do you play songs in a written fan fiction? Unless it's an audio drama or fan animation.
• Sexier better looking costumes

#2: 90 Day Finace: Equestria

Summary

Ponies from Equestria get a K-1 visa to marry their human spouses on Earth.

Similarities to 90 Day Fiance:

• Human/pony relationships and ponies on Earth are nothing new in the fan fiction world.
• 90 Day Fiance has so many goddamn spinoffs that at this point it couldn't hurt to add one more.

• We already have a pony fascinated with humans. I can see it all now.

  "Hi my name is Lyra, I'm 25 years old, and I'm from Ponyville, Equestria. I'm moving to Earth to marry my fiance, Bún bún Nguyễn. Bún bún is a manicurist. Imagine that! Working with hands for a living! Also I have a hand fetish."

Differences with 90 Day Fiance:

• More furries.
• More furries.
• Did I mention more furries?
• Not sure if the demographics for 90 Day Fiance match the brony demographic.
• Immigration law works differently, I'm sure.

#3: The Golden Mares

Summary

40 years after Twilight's coronation, the elderly Mane 6 move into Twilight's castle and live together to save money.

Similarities to The Golden Girls:

• You'd be surprised how similar these two shows are. Both have strong female characters, and similar morals about friendship.
• The Golden Girls love cheesecake, much like how Celestia loves cake.
• Blanche is a mix of Rarity's vanity and Applejack's southern charm.
• Rose is a mix of Pinkie's childishness and Fluttershy's wholesomeness.
• Dorothy is Twilight Sparkle. Hands down.

• Shameless self-plug: I've already written something close to a Golden Girls crossover.

• It's hard to believe that the retired Mane 6 would move in together. They've all got better places to be. Pinkie has her own thriving business, AJ has a farm to take care of, Dashie is probably married to AJ, Fluttershy has Discord to take care of her, and Rarity has her fashion business.
• Sophia is a tough character to add in. I find her hard to connect her with any of the Mane 6.

Just have the mares move in with Granny Smith
