HAHA! ITS HAS BEGUN! (Help on my 40k army) · 7:09pm Jul 30th, 2020
What has been begun you might ask? Well let me just say I order some of chaos terminator boys from amazon from OneMindSyndicate to start my iron warriors (though my mom said this is a stupid hobby and I'm wasting my money on it) now I must wait for the first of my troops to come in through the mail (and I got them for $25 US for a steal with using a gift card) now all I need is the pain from this video:
And the tools and glue for the models...
If you didn't know I'm basing this story as Chaos undivided so it will have iron warriors of Khrone, Nurgle, and Slaanesh. Don't worry I haven't forgotten Tzeentch for he will have a place in my army as Rubric marines, the army will be lore-friendly of course if you have any suggestions on how I should start I would like the help.
Remember to base your miniutures the same as the rest of your army.
Get rid off the mould lines on the miniatures, and take your time while doing it.
Practice makings hazard stripes on a piece of paper before painting it on the miniature. But you can always fix any mistakes you've made with paint.
Make sure you thin your paints with water and when the first layer of paint is dry paint on a second thin coat.
And rember take your time. If your happy with how your miniature turns out in the end then your happy. And just because it doesn't look as good as the box art don't worry the minis on the box are made by professionals with years of experience. So don't worry about it.
OK so is masking frowned upon?
Remember the most important rule. It separates men from beats, the strong from the weak, and wise from the foolish.
DO NOT BUY MORE MINIS BEFORE PAINTING THE ONES YOU HAVE!!!
