Not to be a downer or anything, but I really don't like it. I mean, it's got a decent tune, but it's not MLP-like. And SCOOTALOO SINGING?? ASIOJFAISODFJAISDFMASDIFKAOPFKASPDOFKASODPFKAOSPDFK WTF.

I don't like it either...
I'm not nuts about it. It's got this 1980's thing going on, to me at least. It reminds me of a boring imitation of a Cyndi Lauper song or something.
BUT! MOVIE THEATERS ARE CANON IN EQUESTRIA! This opens up the door for so many fics with movie parodies and funny moments
and dates. . . (You can ignore my one-track shipping mind.)At first I hated it, but then I kinda found it an amusing throwback to the 80's pop songs from the cartoons of that era. Then it clicked: the whole animation, the song, the chorus, the way it's drawn, even the chasing animations and the awful sound quality. it's all an homage to earlier cartoons. which is several sorts of awesome. And I tip my proverbial hat to the MLP team for trying something so crazy. Kinda brought into mind the Mad Mod episodes of Teen Titans. To be honest, it could easily be ripped from some random Scoobie Doo-episode too.
Also it's BLOODY CATCHY!
Movie Theaters exist in MLP:FIM. that's all that matters.
