I worked on improving my audio recordings compared to past work in preparation for the audiobook narration of The Master Mev's Team Awesome Arc (chapters 1-11). In case you missed it, I am looking for actors to help with the character voices while I do the main narration myself.

This is me narrating the first two paragraphs of Chapter 01 - The First Night. There is no character dialogue. There are some extremely minor edits compared to when it was first published.

There you have it. In case of any of you want to audition or listen in whenever it is finished, that is what to expect of my voice.
I was going to audition for one of the male roles but i don't feel like i have the vocal cadence range or control to reach the baritone of Discord, the scratchy mid-puberty slightly screech like voice of Gallus, or the equally mid-puberty yet more squeaky voice of Sandbar.... Honestly i could come close with Gallus but mine would still sound deeper than the show voice actor. (Most likely due to the fact that the voice actor in the show was an actual teenager, while i am a 23 year old guy who has a voice that i could probably turn into an accurate imitation of a slightly older Button Mash.)

It sounds like you've given it a lot of thought, so I definitely appreciate that. Each of those roles certainly has its own challenges. I encourage you to give it a try, at least if it's something you think you would have fun doing.
