Real question is second place. Lemon Zest has a great design, so I'll go with her, even if she doesn't really say much.

The only Shadowbolt that's even in competition with her is Sour Sweet, because those are the only two that really have any characterization outside of "Rainbooms but evil"

Counterargument: Lemon Zest. Yes, she largely lived inside her headphones. That makes her one of the most sympathetic Shadowbolts by default.

That's not to say Sugarcoat isn't great. I just prefer the Pinkie counterpart. Especially when my dialogue guidelines for her are "Average out Discord and Pinkie, then remove the profanity filter." Admittedly, we're getting into headcanon there, but still.

Your Lemon Zest is pretty much in an alternate universe where she's the best of all possible Lemon Zests. Not all Lemon Zests are like that.
