It is very obvious that Mykan's rants are his way of getting a raise out of people, just for his sick entertainment. He thinks he is 'teaching' people his sick truth, but he is only doing it to get attention. That is all he wants, to get attention from people over reacting from his posts and what he does in his stories. He feeds of the hate.
I have one answer for handling Mykan and Merlin will tell you all.

By this point he's really desperate for attention.
Honestly after the stunt he pulled in his recent story, his social standing has hit an all-time low. With only his delusions fueling his ego.
Indeed. It makes perfect sense.
In the grand scheme of things, that guy is all bark and no bite. However, he is also the type who will make people give attention to him.
It's funny. He draws attention to himself and then, as we have discussed before, plays the victim to get those unaware on his side. He uses the constant down-votes to his own advantage.
For example; recently I saw him review a story and another User, aware of who he is, told him to scram. Other users wondered what was going on and the man of hour used it to gain sympathy.
If we want to make sure Mucky is forgotten, it'll be an uphill effort. Some people will probably not be satisfied with just ignoring him and try to get rid of him any way they can, probably backfiring. Others will probably be wondering who the hell we're talking about and look into him.
But what I'm gonna get a kick out if is that soon, Mucky will most likely post his own blog about this one.
Him: Why the hell didn't you people do this in the first place?
Me: Let's answer your question with another question. Why don't you ignore My Little Pony?
Him: I don't have to ignore My Little Pony.
Me: And we don't have to take your shit. That double standard crap ain't happening here.
I can't deny though, the blogs have created a cycle. He makes a post, you make a post, he makes a post, ring around the rosie. Sooner or later it will escalate to something worse. Better to nip it in the bud. Pun unintended
Sadly the only thing I could think of would be if all the websites shut down and when brought back up, banned him. Heh just watch him make a media shit-storm/temper tantrum if that ever happened.
Looks like the best we can do is go about our days. If we see him do anything just think "There goes Mucky, off doing something stupid again." and pass him by.
I'll admit it, it was nice meeting other people who had similar thoughts on him. Don't tell him I said that, he might try to take credit for it.

Well said my dude. Pretty much every time he throws a tantrum I just roll my eyes. It's just the equivalent of seeing Trump do something stupid and except no backlash.
btw, what was the story? I honestly assumed he cared about no one elses's stories but his own.

Forgiveness Denied. It was based off the Marks for Effort episode with the CMC still angry at Twilight for automatically assuming they sabotaged Cozy Glow. Needless to say, catnip to Mucky.
Like I said, He can join CWC and be forgotten.
