See ya later! + story progress update · 4:07pm Jul 13th, 2020
Helloooo peeps! So for a few weeks I will be on vacation and therefore not on Fimfiction. I’m not leaving, I just won’t be here as much.
In the meantime, this is what I’m up to story-wise and what fics you can expect in the future.
When I’ll see him again - Starburst (Starlight x Sunburst) one-shot. This is based off of a flashfic which I’ll leave below, but to summarize, young Starlight and Sunburst are having a perfect day but Starlight can’t help feeling like it’s too good to be true. (The flashfic explains why
)
Shoulda Listened - When the Mane Six go to dinner, Rainbow Dash does something that could’ve been avoided, and Applejack mentally kicks herself for not listening to her gut. (Also a one-shot)
Unnamed One-shot - After a truly horrible first date, Rainbow’s friends try everything to cheer her up. But maybe all she needs is for somepony to sit with her.
The Wonderbolt’s Ball - A two - shot with a possible epilogue, set six months after Ending of the End. If Rainbow Dash knew a date was required to go to the most exclusive Wonderbolt’s event, she would’ve declined the invite immediately, and threw it off a cliff. No worries, her friends’ll be there to help her out, as well as dish out some good-natured teasing.
Which one are you most excited for?? Oh, and If anypony has any ideas what to name that one-shot, let me know. That one’s a struggle. Well everypony, I’m off! I’ll be signing out a little later today

When I’ll See Him Again (Flashfic) -
There’s this meadow we visit everyday after school. A place we laugh, and talk, and I watch him push his glasses up when they scoot down his muzzle. All the things that I’ve missed.
“Hey, Sunburst,” I swing my hooves back and forth.
“What?”
“Is there a way I can become a kite?”
Sunburst laughs. “I wouldn’t count on it, Starlight. Here, take this instead.”
In a spiral of sunnny-yellow magic, a kite appears. He gives it to me.
“Thanks!” I squeal. “C’mon!” I run and he follows, laughing all the while, until the kite is soaring above ground. We sit in the grass, watching it, stars in our eyes, smiles on our faces.
In bed, where I really am, I grin, lost in slumber.
A world where Sunburst never left, is the best world I can dream of. And dream of it, I do.
