The plan to open the first IKEA where I'm from was supposed to be this year. However, because of the COVID-19 pandemic, it has been pushed back to 2021. It is going to be located in a mall in Pasay City called SM Mall of Asia and once complete, it will be the largest IKEA store in the world, occupying 65,000 m2 (700,000 sq ft).

Never have I ever tried their food. I'm not kidding. I went to an IKEA store in Hong Kong several years ago, but I didn't get the opportunity to try their menu items.
