Friendship Souls Next Week

The pink one confounds me almost as much as she does Grogar. Sorry guys, going to need another week on this current chapter, as Pinkie Pie is at times a tricky character to write. As a wise head in a jar once said:

I always kind of got the impression you found it hard to write for Pinkie. A lot of the time she's just kind of there in the background making the occasional joke or 4th wall gag, she has the least amount of character development and even when she does get a moment it never comes off as epic as with the other characters.

It doesn't really bother me that much because I never liked Pinkie to begin with (in fact I HATE her more than most characters in the series) and you at least managed to make her tolerable, which is a major step up.

I can't wait to see what you come up with for Pinkie vs Grogar next week.

Pinkie is a tricky character to write. The true measure of a writer is how they handle her. So, yeah take your time. Next chapter is always worth waiting.

I have never really been a fan of Pinkie. If anything, I usually end up disliking her, but in the few times where she has been the spotlight you've written her interestingly without her becoming obnoxious. Take what time you need to get it to your satisfaction.

Unlike most here, I find Pinkie (and Discord), to be my favourite characters due to their hijinks, but I can see how it makes them hard to write for, can't wait till next week!
