    I will return to G5

    Hey, guys. Mr. J here.

Just so you're aware, I am planning to return to MLP G5: both watching Tell Your Tale and Make Your Mark. Now, I don't remember if I ever told you all about this, but I did inform some of y'all that I've given up hope for G5 because the episodes I watched around that time (two years ago) were so forgettable and boring.

Greetings, friends! Here is my review of The Avengers! To be honest with you guys, I like DC more than Marvel; however, when it comes to actually good action flicks, I applaud Marvel more than the DCEU. Because so far, Marvel is doing a better job than DCEU does. The very first Marvel movie I’ve ever watched when I was a kid was Spider-Man (2002). The second one was Spider-Man 2. The next Marvel films were Iron Man, Iron Man 2, The Incredible Hulk, Spider-Man 3, and so forth. Then a few years later, I came across this movie. Even though I’m not a huge Avengers fan, I am a huge fan of crossovers. This film is both entertaining and full of fun. Here is why:

1). Robert Downey Jr. as Iron Man/Tony Stark. I don’t know about you, but he is basically Marvel’s version of Batman. I love his witty humor, sarcasm, and intelligence. However, his ego and arrogance can be very annoying sometimes, but I still like him a lot. He has always been one of my favorite superheroes of all time next to Spider-Man and Batman. You can never go wrong with Robert Downey Jr.

2). The story itself was full of thrill and excitement. In fact, this film gave me Transformers: Dark of the Moon vibes. Is it me or did the writers take inspiration from that movie?

3). What I really enjoyed most in this movie was that our heroes didn’t know each other and didn’t get along at first. However, when the main antagonist along with its evil threat rose up to threaten New York City, they put aside their conflict and united together to stop the villain. Speaking of which...

4). Loki was actually a good villain. He had interesting motivations in using the tesseract to wipe out any desire for freedom in his victims. His personality and humor were very interesting and entertaining to watch. My favorite scenes were him trying to zap Tony with the tesseract but couldn’t because of the power source in his chest and when Hulk slammed him around the floor. I laughed when Hulk walked away saying “Puny God...” Loki’s face was priceless. Lol

5). Captain America, Black Widow, Hawkeye, and Thor were also great characters. The fight scenes they had were well-written and well directed.

6). The humor was great, and most of the jokes were funny.

7). Some of the lines of dialogue were somewhat cheesy and cliche, but thankfully not overused to the point where it becomes painfully cringeworthy and unwatchable.

8). The tone of the movie was awesome and actually made me go at the edge of my seat. The stakes were high, and everybody was in character when we are reintroduced to them and throughout the whole film.

9). Nick Fury was awesome as well. In fact, he is one of my favorite characters in the MCU. Samuel L. Jackson was born to play this badass dude. Honestly, he is like Marvel’s version of Lucius Fox in the Batman universe.

10). The acting was good, and music/soundtrack was great. By the time you get to the prologue and epilogue of this movie, you get chills up in your spine. This film was really epic.

Therefore, I rate it a 9/10. Great movie to this day. Any thoughts on this?

Peace.

The most awesome superhero film of the century. I have no regrets getting into the Marvel franchise because of this movie.

I’ve been thinking about this movie a lot recently, and every time I did...I’d remember how much of a significant part the movie played in my life. The very first Marvel movies I saw were Iron Man 1 & 2, and the first Captain America movie. However, it was this movie in particular that helped me become more aware of there being a series called the MCU, and I was interested in checking out more movies that were a part of the franchise since then.

It was also the very first movie I saw with Thor and Loki, although once I saw the first Thor film I gained a better understanding of who the two were as characters. It was also the first Marvel movie I saw with Hawkeye, but I think his appearance in the first Thor film helped give the character more background.
