My Thoughts: Pony Life edition · 9:51pm Jul 6th, 2020
So, here I am minding my own business, when this new show comes out.
My Little Pony: Pony Life.
So, yeah. I decided to give it a try. Be a kind human being. All of that jazz, ya know.
I'll be honest, it took me two tries.
Try #1.
I only made it about 3 min in. It was torturous. I lost interest right about the point where they are taking potions like a drum circle.
My thoughts were along the lines of the fact that I found the show to Teen Titans Go! ish. Over dramatic. All the characters had their personalities amped up to 10. At the time, it was to much for me.
Try #2
I actually finished the episode. It looks like that they are doing it Spongebob style, where each episode will be paired with another episode. So about 13 min for one episode, and 13 min for another. All of that wrapped into a sparkly shiny episode for young kids to enjoy.
It ended up being a little better than my first thoughts, but those first couple of minutes are critical for me in watching shows. If I weren't a fan of My Little Pony: Friendship is Magic, I probably would have never given the show the light of day.
The show is geared to a younger audience with little to offer for an older audience. It's high energy, and all shoved into a flash point of information. Kind of like this blog post. If you found this blog post quick and messy, that is the show itself.
The End
Yeah, I thought it was... okay. Definitely not as great as FIM but could be a lot worse.

That's true, it could have been worse. Like having Rainbow Dash love fashion and makeup.

Oh yeah, there was that as well. POTIONS! What's up with that, recreational potion use.
