It's done guys. It's still not the cleanest work in the world, but it's far and away closer to my current standard. I've tidied up whole swathes of the paragraph structure, added a few bits, tweaked a few things to keep the canon consistent, but I haven't changed anything to the story itself.
The biggest change was to the third Interlude. I wanted to give the CMC a little more screen time.
All in all, the story feels and reads a lot cleaner, at least in my opinion. Let me know in the comments of the story what you think of the re-edited version! Hopefully it's all an improvement!

I forgot to say this sooner, but if I read this correctly (kinda sleepy, so my reading skills go down a lot) does that mean almost every chapter is a bit longer or just cleaned up with some minor edits and fixes, including the new and improved 3rd interlude?
P.S. regardless if I get an answer or not, I cannot wait to re-read the story again

The word count definitely changed on most of my chapters. I’m honestly not sure if it’s longer overall though. Other than the interlude with the CMC obviously. That’s a lot longer. It was all edits for clarity though, so in most cases was restructuring the paragraphs and rewriting a few scenes, not deleting or adding anything.
