What happens when you get a few beers in me · 12:13am Nov 23rd, 2012
So yesterday I went to a bonfire with my mom and brother to meet with a family friend. It was full of kids that were all hyper on hot chocolate and cupcakes, and I wasnt having the greatest time. So I went over to the cooler and grabbed a beer. A few minutes later I felt tingly and started to have this weird idea for a fanfic. And I must warn you this is either a really good idea or a really bad one.
Canterlot is in shambles from a strange magical explosion, Ponies from around the land are trapped within its walls with no hope of escape, and no contact from Celestia or Luna. To make matters worse all Unicorns within Canterlot have lost any magical abilities, and pegasus ponies cannot break through the magical barrier that has formed around the city. Among other things some earth ponies and pegasus ponies have obtained strange magical abilities and are either trying to find a way out of Canterlot, or rule the hell hole they are trapped in. Clay is one of those ponies that has obtained magic and is desperately trying to find where he stands in this civil war, and is also trying to find a way to save his family from those that wish to harm them. As if things weren't bad enough there is talk of changelings within Canterlot as well, and even rumors of a strange metal beast stalking the streets. Can Clay and a small band of other selected find a way to save the ponies trapped within as well as themselves? What is the metal beast? What caused the explosion? Where are the Princesses? And most importantly, who can be trusted in this time of crisis?
Please tell me what you think, and yes I see the similarities to Infamous. This is for fun.
