AJ herself received kind of a stark facelift for Pony Life, and if I'm being brutally honest I prefer her characterization here over how she was in FiM. The fact that both she and Rainbow are avid and shameless readers now is fucking surreal to me, but in a good way. Reading should not be treated as a niche activity, which was what FiM was kinda guilty of.
