Howdy again everyone! It's the first Friday of July, and as I promised, I'm back with a new chapter for you all. In fact, it's up for you right now to read and enjoy over this sunny and clear 4th of July weekend. Well, maybe not so sunny and clear here in rainy Washington state. My dad always had something he said when I was growing up that stuck with me. Summer in Washington always starts on July 5th. Anyway, that's neither here nor there in regards to anything Fo:E related. What is related, is the change I've alluded to in the title of the post.
Because I've been having so much difficulty in keeping up my drive to write, new chapter posting will be slowed down to once a month until I can, or even if I can, build up a sizable backlog. New chapters from here on out will come out on the first Friday of each month, and of course you'll get a new blog post with them with any news or updates. I just feel like with how I've been struggling, even though the end of Long Haul is starting to be in sight for the first time, this is something I need to do for my own sake. Just writing this out now has helped relieve me of a ton of stress related to keeping to my tried-and-true two week posting style. So while this announcement may be a bit disappointing, I hope you all can understand why I'm shifting things around this way.
So! With that out of the way, and the chapter already up, that brings this blog post to a close. Normally I'd write at the end of this that I'll be back in two weeks with another one. But for now, I'll be back with another new chapter and blog on August 7th! Who knows, maybe by then I'll have had a bit of inspiration and this will only be yet another setback. But until that time and post, I hope you all enjoy the new chapter, and can stay cool as we get firmly into the hot summer months in the northern hemisphere.
