Hey there everyone. I was just bored and realized my old "Villain Dimension" group has been inactive for a long time, so I decided to start up a villain contest to fix that problem. I decided to copy and paste most of what I have written into here so anyone who isn't in the Villain Dimension group could get this in their feed and help spread the word.
It's a pretty simple contest really. Just write the best villains story you could, and the judges and I* will see which villain and their story is the best. Just a few ground rules before we begin.
- No Clopfics Allowed- I gotta draw the line of villainy somewhere, and I'm drawing it here because villain stories should challenge the way we see the world and question everyone's true role in the story, rather than just an excuse to "practice with your magic horn" as they say in Ponyville. Flirting and Romance are OK. Just don't go overboard.
- At least one OC- It'd help expand upon the world of Equestria with the story you're telling. Plus, I just really like OCs, so...
- It has to be written for this contest- Just make sure you mention this contest in the description of the story and put it in the new folder I'm putting here, and you're in the contest.
- Don't forget to be creative- Evil can take many forms, so villains could be anything. From a shapeshifting bug to a murderous clown, to a space-suit samurai, to a purple grape with a rock collection. Plus, this is creative writing. This rule is kind of a given.
- Maximum of up to 15 chapters with 1k-5k words per chapter- Make sure you don't take too long writing it.
So yeah, those are the rules I got. If there are any more rules, the Judges and I* will revise this and update you all on it. The Deadline will be on September 25th, 2020, and I'll check out your stories then.
*Comment down below if you'd like to be a Judge. The only requirement is that judges don't get to post a story, as it would seem pretty unfair. Which is ironic since this is a villain's group after all.
